Hardy is out of the dock. The hull survey was done by DB Marine Survey and we now have a plan for future works.

The exterior is Surveyed, lunch has been had and now they’re working on mapping the interior.

Once sitting in an empty dock, the work began. Gentle pressure washing (well more gentle than the steel boats get) to get the hull clean and ready for the survey.

Once the supports were in place it was time to get the stop planks and tarpaulin back in AND PULL THE PLUG.

Hardy slid smoothly into dock ready for next stage.

Turning Hardy around ready to go into the dry dock. A very smooth trip up to the winding hole – an impeccable turn, didn’t even need a banksman with a rope to help her round. And then back to her mooring.

Today’s task is to fit some plates over gaps in the hull. This involves Craig getting quite a workout getting some Chalico softened up ready to use.

We covered Hardy’s cabin some time ago and, to be honest, it’s been looking rather untidy for a while. So today is Makeover Day.
