Kilsby Theatre Boat at Tooley’s Boatyard

Work started this month on preparing the floating hulk which is moored outside Tooley’s ready for when it goes into the dry dock for a makeover. Narrowboat Kilsby will be converted into a theatre boat at Tooley’s Boatyard.

Kilsby was given to Jericho Living Heritage Trust in Oxford and it has been relocated to Banbury for the work to be completed. As much of the work as possible will be carried out by volunteers and if you would like to be involved any time between now and the end of October, please see the Kilsby Theatre Boat website for details.

Work started alongside Tooley’s and as it progresses it will be moved into the dry dock for work below the waterline and further work.
